EPI is actively working with public policy officials to ensure our workforce and persons served are a top priority when it comes to offering the vaccine. Now's a good time to start having conversations with persons served and their supports to make a plan when the vaccine becomes available.
Building resilience includes focusing on strength and health, attending to physical, cognitive, and emotional health. Thanks to medical advances, there is a wide range of medications to prevent disease progression, treat exacerbations, and manage symptoms. But, that is just the beginning.
