EPI is actively working with public policy officials to ensure our workforce and persons served are a top priority when it comes to offering the vaccine. Now's a good time to start having conversations with persons served and their supports to make a plan when the vaccine becomes available.
As 2020 draws to a close, we at Exceptional Persons, Inc. (EPI) are taking time to reflect on all we have been able to accomplish this year along with the help of our great community. We have been blessed by so many who faithfully give and allow us to serve those who are in need.
Needs can be fulfilled on EPI's website from November 9 through December 18.
The holidays are quickly approaching and with that in mind we would like to offer a few suggestions along with resources to help keep you safe while connecting with your loved ones this year.

Persons served enjoy any opportunity to give back to their community and they understand that right now everyone needs a little help cheering up.
As a society we need to be critically invested in making sure organizations like EPI stay healthy for the people they support. We must continue to share their stories and tell our lawmakers they can no longer overlook people with disabilities and the critical services they rely upon.
We are so thankful for our staff and family members support in these difficult times.

Research shows through consistent mask wearing, avoiding crowds, keeping distance, washing hands frequently, and partaking in outdoor activities over indoors, and of course, getting a flu shot, we can keep numbers low for both influenza and COVID-19.
In the current state our world is in, we believe self-care is not only just as important as your physical health, but it is more important than ever before.
By supporting EPI with a gift to the greatest need, you can help protect critical services when funding gaps arise and ensure the stability of our DSP workforce during increasingly uncertain times.
Each year we take one week to celebrate and recognize our outstanding Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and others like them throughout the world.
We are honored to have been selected for the 2020 Employers of Choice award - thank you to our team members.
