Every Need Fulfilled: A Heartfelt Gift and a Community of Support

This holiday season, something extraordinary happened at EPI. For nearly 20 years, our Giving Tree has been more than a holiday gesture—it’s a lifeline for individuals with disabilities living on extremely limited incomes, many without family to provide holiday gifts. Each year, we invite our community to help fulfill essential needs like winter coats, bedding, kitchenware, and hygiene products—items that bring dignity, hope, and comfort.
This year, 79 individuals shared 280 essential needs with us. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, every single one of those needs will be met.
A Gift in Memory of John Fahr
Recently, a couple reached out with a remarkable offer: they wanted to fulfill the remaining gifts on our Giving Tree. Their generous contribution, given in memory of John Fahr, ensures that no one will go without this holiday season. While they wish to remain anonymous, they asked that we share this story to honor John’s memory—a beautiful reminder of how love and generosity can create lasting impact.
Gratitude for Our Community
While this extraordinary gift helped us cross the finish line, we also want to celebrate the many donors who made this possible from the very beginning. Whether you shopped online, shopped locally, or gave a monetary donation, your kindness brought joy and comfort to those who need it most. Every gift tells a story, and together, you’ve written a chapter of hope.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our Giving Tree host businesses, whose support made this campaign possible:
- Discerning Wealth
- Lee Wealth Management
- PDCM Insurance
- Truck Center Companies
- Veridian Fiscal Solutions
Your partnership helped spread the word and inspire generosity across our community.
Closing the Giving Tree
With every need fulfilled, we close this year’s Giving Tree with gratitude and joy. Thank you for joining us in this tradition and for proving, once again, that when we come together, we can make sure no one feels forgotten during the holidays.
