Health Equipment Program

EPI's durable medical equipment lending program provides donated walkers, wheelchairs, manual hospital beds, canes and commodes to those in need.

Families who do not have health insurance, and who are faced with purchasing needed health equipment, may find what they need.

Equipment is loaned at no cost for as long as needed -- two months or two years.

The availability of this equipment often allows people to remain in or return to their own homes rather than move into a more expensive or restrictive setting such as a nursing home.
