Real Estate
Many of the individuals we serve live in homes throughout the community. Your gift of real estate gifts could be sold, with the proceeds going to support EPI services or could be used as a home to provide residential services.

Household Goods
Whether it's gently used clothing or the contents of an entire household, your donations go directly to individuals served by EPI who are in need. Click here to fill out our gift-in-kind form your tax records. Please bring the form with you when you make your donation to validate the information in the form. Donations can be delivered to 760 Ansborough Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa (please call to make arrangements before delivering larger items).

Stocks
A donation of stock may be an excellent way for you to make a charitable contribution while realizing valuable tax benefits. Contact us for information on transferring stock shares.

Aluminum Cans
Did you know EPI has can donation sites where aluminum cans can be donated? EPI as two can donation sites where your cans be dropped off. Find these can containers at:

  • EPI Deery Center, 3675 University Avenue, Waterloo
  • Thunder Ridge Complex, across from Fareway on Magnolia Drive, Cedar Falls, IA

The service of these sites is maintained by EPI's Employment Services Crew and proceeds from the can redemption go back to support EPI's services.

Crop Yields
Farming families can donate bushels of corn, soybeans or other commodities, with the proceeds from the sale at their co-op coming to the EPI.

Equipment and Materials
Businesses may realize tax benefits by donating equipment or materials needed to maintain and improve EPI facilities.
